The National Press Foundation’s 41st annual journalism awards dinner honored top journalists, including Al Roker of NBC’s TODAY and Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter detained by Russia, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C.
The dinner brought together roughly 650 journalists, communications professionals, philanthropists, policymakers and other influencers to celebrate the best in journalism. All proceeds go to support NPF’s mission of “making good journalists better,” specifically our flagship journalism training programs, the Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship and the Widening the Pipeline Fellowship for journalists of color.
