Valentina Pop is a journalist specialized in European politics. She was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal between 2015-2021, covering European Union politics and policies, transatlantic relations and the rising influence of China in Europe. Since April 2021, she is editing a daily newsletter on Europe for the Financial Times.

Pop shared in winning, with her colleagues, the 2021 Hinrich Foundation Award for Distinguished Reporting on Trade.
