Monica Ulmanu is a graphics editor for The Washington Post covering climate change and health. She is part of the team that won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in explanatory journalism for “2C: Beyond the Limit”, a series of articles that documented the dire effects of extreme temperatures on the planet. Before joining the Post in 2018, Monica worked as a visual journalist for the Guardian, Reuters, Boston Globe, and The New York Times.
Ulmanu shared in winning, with her colleagues, the 2021 Innovative Storytelling Award.
