Noah Bierman 2013
The Boston Globe
Noah Bierman covers Congress in the Globe’s Washington Bureau.
Before that, he covered state politics, including the US Senate race between Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren, and transportation as the state completed the Big Dig.
He has also reported on higher education, crime, politics, and local government for the Miami Herald, The Palm Beach Post, and the Duluth (Minn.) News-Tribune. Bierman, 41, is a native of Miami who attended Duke University.
His Broken City stories focused on Democrats’ quiet efforts at boosting Tea Party candidates, the unprecedented confirmation process of Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy, and the dilemma faced by House Speaker Jon Boehner in trying to lead his unruly caucus. Noah lives in Northwest Washington with his wife Abby, 5-year-old son Arlo, and 4-year-old daughter Elodie.
