
Magoun briefed National Press Foundation fellows in May 2024: Journalists Can Track Effectiveness, from EAPs to Mental Health Apps.
Lauren Magoun is the Senior Health Strategy Specialist at Dimagi. As a member of the Research and Data team, she researches and develops innovative strategies to improve access to quality mental health care globally. Beyond research, her work includes building partnerships with funders, academics, and implementers to advance these and other innovative research efforts toward impact.
Prior to joining Dimagi in 2021, Lauren directed innovative, results-focused quality improvement projects at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality (NICHQ). She served in both project and operational roles, partnering with funders, subject matter experts and families to design and deliver projects that improved MNCH outcomes. Lauren also has been a human resources researcher and consultant in the not-for-profit and technology sectors. She received her MPH from Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and an MBA from Brandeis’s Heller School for Social Policy & Management.
