
Arthur Allen is a senior correspondent at KFF Health News, where he reports on drugs, vaccines and other aspects of health policy. He worked formerly at POLITICO, where he created and led a health IT reporting unit. Allen previously was a foreign correspondent in Mexico, Central America and Germany for The Associated Press and is the author of three non-fiction books, Vaccine: the controversial story of medicine’s greatest lifesaver (WW Norton, 2007), Ripe: in search of the perfect tomato (Counterpoint, 2010), and The Fantastic Laboratory of Dr. Weigl (WW Norton, 2014).
