Mary Carmichael leads science and technology communications at Danaher, where she helps translate complex innovation in life sciences, diagnostics, biomanufacturing, and AI into clear, compelling stories. She previously held communications leadership roles at Novartis and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she also led efforts in data-sharing for therapeutics development. A former science journalist for Newsweek and the Boston Globe, Mary is passionate about making emerging technologies accessible and meaningful to the public, journalists and policymakers alike.
