Keith Laing is a Washington correspondent for The Detroit News, where he covers automotive regulation and lobbying and the Michigan congressional delegation. Prior to coming to The Detroit News, Laing covered transportation policy in Congress for The Hill. He also worked for the News Service of Florida, where he tracked the Florida Legislature with a focus on transportation and energy issues. Laing worked previously in the Georgia Senate press office and served as a local government reporter for The Brunswick News (Georgia). Additionally, he has contributed to Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine.
