Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship
Exploring – and Understanding – the City You Cover
For more than 30 years, the Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship has introduced promising young(ish) Washington reporters to the city they have been assigned to cover. From September to June, this one-day-a-month fellowship will give print, online and broadcast journalists from top news organizations an intensive – and lively – overview of reporting in the capital.
Over the course of nine months, fellows will visit institutions such as Pentagon, the Supreme Court, the Fed and the Capitol. They’ll discuss politics and policy with regulators, lawmakers, experts and the best reporters in the business. They’ll learn about the latest data and multimedia tools. And they’ll network with colleagues who will help them grow personally and professionally.
The Washington media landscape is filled with former Paul Miller fellows. You can join their ranks.
Deadline to apply July 22.
