The National Press Foundation returns to Singapore June 23-26 to train journalists on a wide variety of aspects of sustainable global trade, including China’s influence on the region and the world, sustainable investment, what the U.S. presidential election will mean for trade, economic data analyses, environmental and social impact, supply chain issues and emerging trends.
NPF offers this professional development opportunity for journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical beats. The foundation will cover airfare, hotel costs and most meals.
This program is for Asia-based journalists only. Journalists may be domestic or international, working in print, television, radio or digital media. We greatly value diversity in all our programs. All nationalities are welcome to apply but journalists must be based in Asia. Priority is given to journalists with a coverage plan and demonstrated experience covering these issues.
Applicants must agree to comply with Singapore’s visa and COVID-19 policies.
Previous sessions can be found under NPF’s trade resources. Speakers will be added to this page as they are confirmed.
This fellowship is part of an ongoing program of trade training and awards sponsored by the Hinrich Foundation. The National Press Foundation is solely responsible for the content. All programs are on the record. Resources and transcripts from this fellowship will be available on the NPF website.
