Building a Tobacco-Free Generation Is Goal

Ethicist Yvette van der Eijk talks about the ethical considerations of sharply limiting tobacco use – including the possibility of prohibiting sales to anybody born after a certain date. Andrew Black of the U.K. and Dmitriy Yanin of Russia talk about whether their nations’ efforts to control tobacco use could be replicated elsewhere. And two Russian experts – Ministry of Health official Oleg Salagay and journalist Eva Merkacheva – talk about executing and reporting on Russia’s recent tobacco limitations.
