Sydney Clark, a New Orleans native, joined the National Press Foundation in June 2021 as a summer intern, and was promoted to Fellow, and then promoted to Multimedia Producer. She assists with research, training, website management, social media, video editing and office administration.

After graduating from Spring Hill College in May 2019 with a bachelor’s in Journalism, she pursued graduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she received her master’s in Multiplatform Journalism in May 2021.

Sydney has worked as a multimedia freelancer, and her work has been published in Tolton Spirituality Center, National Catholic Reporter, Global Sisters Report, America Magazine, Catholic News Service, Capital News Service, The Tempest, The Hyattsville Life & Times, College Park Here & Now and more.

Sydney enjoys cooking nostalgic meals from her hometown, pickleball, outdoor walks, Zumba and traveling. Her most memorable trips include Spain (Madrid, Barcelona and Mallorca) in Fall 2024, the Dominican Republic, where she completed two service immersion trips (2017 & 2019), and Bologna, Italy, where she completed a five-week study abroad program in Summer 2018.
