Celia Milch comes to the National Press Foundation with a background spanning journalism, newsroom operations, and people management. Most recently, she served as a managing editor at Business Insider, where she helped oversee people operations and strategy for an 80-person video newsroom, managing workflows, training programs, and cross-team collaboration.

She holds MS degrees in Journalism from Columbia University in New York City and Sciences Po Journalism School in Paris, as well as a BA in International Relations from Macalester College in Minnesota.

Professionally, Celia has worked across a wide range of media environments (PBS, CNN…), bringing together her passion for storytelling with a focus on building sustainable, well-run organizations. She is excited to support NPF’s mission to strengthen journalism through training, programs, and service to reporters nationwide.

In her free time, Celia enjoys playing pickleball, exploring national parks, volunteering with the American Red Cross, and traveling to France, where she was born and raised.
