Sue-Lin Wong is South China correspondent for the Financial Times, covering mainland southern China, Hong Kong and Macau. She recently opened the FT’s Shenzhen bureau, where her coverage focuses on technology, trade, manufacturing and labor. She was previously with Reuters in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai. She graduated with degrees in law and Asian studies from the Australian National University.
