Sheila Krumholz is the executive director of OpenSecrets, a nonpartisan watchdog that tracks and reports on money in U.S. politics on its website, OpenSecrets.org. Ms. Krumholz has testified before Congress and the Federal Election Commission on issues related to government transparency and regularly provides commentary to the press and makes presentations to scholars, government officials, NGOs, and at meetings of professional news organizations. She has a degree in international relations and political science from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Krumholz serves on the board of directors of the Institute for Nonprofit News.
