
Peter J. Levesque is chief executive officer of Modern Terminals Ltd. based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Modern Terminals, Levesque served as senior vice president and global head of the CEVA Logistics Supply Chain Group. He also served as regional vice president for DHL International Supply Chain Asia Pacific. In 2000, he co-founded V-Logic Limited. Prior to V-Logic, he held several management positions with American President Lines, including managing director of APL Logistics for North Asia. Levesque holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has served as an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship for the Kellogg/HKUST executive MBA program, as well as for the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s MBA program. Levesque served in 2014 and 2015 as chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. In addition to his time at AmCham, he has served on the executive committee and board of governors for the American Club in Hong Kong, and served as president of the American Club in 2013. Levesque currently sits on the shipping and transport committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Hong Kong-United States Business Council. Levesque is the author of “The Shipping Point: The Rise of China and the Future of Retail Supply Chain Management.”
