Olivia Nuzzi is New York Magazine’s Washington correspondent, covering the White House, presidential campaigns, political media, and the Republican Party. She joined New York Magazine in 2017 as its first-ever Washington correspondent and reported on the Trump administration and 2020 election. She contributes regularly to Intelligencer, nymag.com’s news and politics vertical, in addition to writing features for the magazine. She was awarded a 2019 ASME Next Award honoring outstanding achievement by magazine journalists under age 30.

Nuzzi got her start writing a political column for an Asbury Park alt-weekly called the Tri City News, covering Chris Christie and New Jersey politics. Prior to working at New York Magazine, she was a political reporter at The Daily Beast, where she reported on the Republican primary and the 2016 general election. Her writing has also appeared in GQ, Esquire, Politico Magazine, Glamour and The Washington Post. She appears regularly on CNN, MSNBC and NPR.
