Mythili Sampathkumar is a freelance journalist based in NYC. She is currently the Editor-Mentor for the Center for Community Media’s Elections Reporting Fellowship housed in the CUNY Newmark Journalism School. Her reporting work covering politics, climate, foreign policy, tech, protests, and stories in between has appeared in The New York Times, L.A. Times, NBC News, Fortune, Forbes. Daily Beast, The New Republic, Teen Vogue, Vox, and The Independent where she was a staff reporter. In her spare time, Mythili is also a recycled collage artist.
