Kaia Peterson is the Executive Director of NeighborWorks Montana. Established in 1998, NeighborWorks Montana is a statewide leader in the affordable housing sector. NWMT advances housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Montanans by providing attainable homeownership programs, financing the development and preservation of affordable homes, and supporting resident ownership in manufactured home parks and other diverse housing types. She has called Missoula home for 16 years working first in community development finance with small businesses before making the move to NWMT and housing 12 years ago.

Kaia has a BA from Bates College and an MBA from the University of Washington.  She has served on many non-profit boards and currently serves as the Board Chair for the Missoula Housing Authority and a board member of the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center.
