Beyond his professional pursuits, Jason is a devoted father to three children—sons Xavier and Graham, and daughter Zoe. Nestled in uptown New Orleans, he shares his life with his wife, Dr. Liz Marcell Williams, a prominent figure as the CEO of the Center for Resilience.
In 2021, Jason Williams achieved a milestone by being elected as the Orleans Parish District Attorney. His election was rooted in a commitment to bolstering safety, ensuring equitable justice delivery, and reforming the criminal legal system to serve the diverse needs of the community. Central to his agenda is the establishment of a prosecutorial and support staff that ranks among the nation’s best, geared towards serving the people of New Orleans.
