Yin briefed National Press Foundation in July 2022: How Aquaponics Fits Into the Circular Economy. 

James Yin is a founding member of V-Plus Agritech Ptd Ltd. A veteran of the Singapore Army with two decades of service as an officer, he has pivoted from protecting his country to protecting our planet. Yin is no stranger to disasters, conflicts and crises having deployed in the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami relief, the Defeat-ISIS Coalition in Iraq and Singapore’s COVID-19 response. He saw climate change as a crisis of increasing urgency, and he decided to step up and take action. Yin possesses several sustainability qualifications, and he hopes to combine them with his deep expertise in strategy, communications and leadership to ‘move the needle’ for climate action.
