
Hope Allen is an economist for the job openings and labor turnover survey in the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Division of Administrative Statistics and Labor Turnover. Prior to working at BLS, Allen was an economic research analyst in the private sector. Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a certificate in education policy and program evaluation from Georgetown University. Allen is working on her first article at BLS, which she hopes to publish in January.
