Martin briefed National Press Foundation fellows in September 2023: Judicial Elections Put Abortion, Voting, LGBTQ Rights on Ballot

Supervisor Felesia Martin was first elected to the County Board April 3, 2018 and re-elected in 2020 and 2022. She currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee, Vice-Chair of the Economic and Community Development Committee, and also serves on the Parks, Energy & Environment Committee and Intergovernmental Relations Committee. Supervisor Martin was appointed to the Milwaukee County Pension Study Commission for a term expiring May 24, 2023. She also serves as Chair of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Council.

She and her husband along with their “fur kids,” Jazz the Cat and Albert the Alley Cat, reside in the Sherman Park Neighborhood, where they have lived for more than 40 years. Supervisor Martin is a proud alumna of Milwaukee Public Schools, having graduated from John Marshall High School. She attended Bryant & Stratton College and Lakeland College (now Lakeland University).
