Dr. Jennifer Chao is a clinician in cardiovascular medicine and a clinical instructor for internal medicine and cardiovascular disease for the New York University Robert I. Grossman School of Medicine. She graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and history and received her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed internal medicine residency training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and cardiovascular fellowship training at Hofstra Northwell Health, where she also completed a cardiology chief fellow year. She has taken part in national and international research projects under Dr. Valentin Fuster, investigating preventative cardiovascular care. She has also had national presentations at the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology conferences, focusing on cardiovascular care in the frail and elderly patients. She focuses her practice on cardio-diabetology.
