
Dr. Doug Reynolds is a globally recognized industrial-organizational psychologist and expert in technology-enhanced workplace assessment. For almost 40 years, his work has informed the design, implementation, and defensibility of a wide range of workplace assessment and diagnostic tools. His role at APTMetrics centers on product strategy and corporate innovation processes. His experience includes advising companies on the design and operation of talent management systems, especially those involving talent assessment processes. He also served as an operational executive in a large consulting firm, and as a board member for several technology companies and non-profit organizations.
Doug is also an active contributor to the field of Industrial-Organizational Psychology. He has held several leadership roles in the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), serving as president (2012-13) and in a variety of other roles on the executive board. Doug is a recipient of SIOP’s Distinguished Professional Contributions Award, and he is a Fellow of both SIOP and the American Psychological Association.
His research has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and the International Journal of Selection and Assessment. Doug holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University.
