Dani Romero is a reporter and a West Coast correspondent for Yahoo Finance. She joined the network in May 2021 as part of the company’s Multimedia Journalism Fellowship program. She’s reported on the supply chain disruptions, where she provided on-the-ground coverage from both the Los Angeles County ports and continues to cover a variety of sectors including manufacturing, hospitality and leisure/travel industry.
From 2019 to 2021, Romero worked as a multimedia journalist for KESQ News Channel 3, the ABC affiliate in Palm Springs, CA. In her two years reporting there, Romero covered multiple breaking news stories including the disappearance of Walnut Creek mother Erika Lloyd, California’s record 2020 fire season, and the racial disparities in COVID-19 vaccinations.
Prior to joining KESQ, Romero spent a summer interning for the news station and quickly fell in love with covering local news and worked her way up to reporting. Romero has also worked as an on-air personality for a local country radio station in Southern California, 99.1 The Ranch, for nearly three years.
