Christopher Tang is the Senior Associate Dean of Global Initiatives, Faculty Director of the UCLA Center for Global Management, University Distinguished Professor, and the holder of the Edward W. Carter Chair in Business Administration at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Los Angeles, CA, USA.

Known as a world-renowned global supply chain management thought leader, he has published eight books, 30 book chapters, and more than 200 research articles in various leading academic journals. He has published over 250 articles in Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Le Monde, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg Law, South China Morning Post, and Forbes. He frequently provides commentary on supply chain and trade issues for media outlets such as Al Jazeera, BBC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Voice of America, Vox, and The Economist.

Dr. Tang holds a B.Sc. (First Class Honors) in Mathematics from King’s College, London, and an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Management Science from Yale University.
