
Charlotte Bismuth started her legal career at the firm of Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP, and joined the New York County District Attorney’s Office in 2008. After prosecuting the landmark case of People v. Li, she served as Director of Training for the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor. She is the author of “Bad Medicine: Catching New York’s Deadliest Pill Pusher,” a contributing writer for Medium, an advocate for victims of the opioid epidemic and an occasional legal cartoonist. She is a graduate of Columbia University, Columbia Law School, and the Institute of Political Science in Paris (“Sciences-Po”).
Bismuth was part of a National Press Foundation panel discussion “Writing About Opioids.”
