
Brigid Schulte is an award-winning journalist, keynote speaker and author of “Over Work: Transforming the Daily Grind in the Quest for a Better Life” and the New York Times bestselling book on time pressure, gender and modern life, “Overwhelmed: Work, Love & Play when No One has the Time.” She was an award-winning journalist for The Washington Post and part of the team that won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize. She is the director of New America’s Better Life Lab, which produces and supports award-winning research, journalism and practical tools to change narratives and drive action for fairer public policies, workplace practices and cultural attitudes around work, family, gender, care and wellbeing so all people and families have an opportunity to live rich, full, wholehearted lives.
