
Anam R. Petit has dedicated her career to immigration law. She served as an Immigration Judge at the Annandale Immigration Court from September 2023 to September 2025. Prior to her judicial appointment, she was a partner at Calderón Seguin PLC in Fairfax, Virginia, from 2019 to 2023, after serving as an associate and senior attorney at the firm from 2013 to 2019. She also taught a clinical course on gender and immigration at Georgetown University Law Center from 2018 to 2022. Anam earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 from the George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School in 2012.
