Amantha Perera is the Project Lead at the Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma, Asia Pacific. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Education and the Arts, Central Queensland University, Melbourne Campus. His current research focus is journalism and trauma, digital trauma, journalism and safety. His reporting has appeared in TIME, the Guardian, Reuters, Washington Post and Al-Jazeera.
