Aimee Korolev spoke to NPF fellows in McAllen, Texas January 23, 2023 on “Defending Immigrant Children’s Rights.”

Aimee Korolev is the interim director of programs and legal director at the South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR), a project of the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Immigration. Korolev has devoted her career to providing free high-quality legal services to asylum seekers, immigrant children and adults, and survivors of violence and human trafficking.
Before working at ProBAR, Korolev was the director of the statewide Immigrants’ and Language Rights Center at Indiana Legal Services (2015-2021), an adjunct immigration clinical professor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2019-2021), and a staff attorney for Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, an Indianapolis based non-profit (2013-2015). Korolev received her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2012 and her B.A. from Indiana University in 2009.
