NPF Selects 25 Journalists for 2026 International Trade Reporting Fellowship in Singapore

The National Press Foundation is excited to welcome 25 journalists to its International Trade Reporting Fellowship in Singapore, June 21-24, 2026. This year’s fellowship class includes reporters and editors from more than a dozen countries across Asia who will examine the latest trends in covering sustainable global trade.

The U.S. Supreme Court decision to roll back the Trump administration’s sweeping tariff policies provided only a brief respite. Major questions remain unresolved, including when the American president will make good on his vow to pursue other legal avenues to impose a new round of sanctions, while a new war in the Middle East has shaken international markets.

Against this fraught backdrop, NPF’s reporting fellowship will examine a range of issues, from politics and policy to labor, the impact of artificial intelligence and supply chain disruptions.
