Congratulations to the 34 journalists selected for the National Press Foundation’s 2024 Elections Journalism Fellowship! The journalists will gather in Detroit, Michigan, July 28-30, to deeply explore covering elections themselves, not horse-race politics.

The journalist-fellows represent nonprofit, local and national newsrooms, from Capital B and the 19th to Little Rock Public Radio and the Georgia Recorder, to Axios, CNN and Politico. They will hear from speakers Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, Bipartisan Policy Center’s Democracy Program Executive Director Matthew Weil and more.
