
Steve Sack has been editorial cartoonist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune since 1981. He has won virtually every award in his field, including the Pulitzer Prize in 2013. He was also a Pulitzer Finalist in 2004, 2016, and 2017. And he won the 2020 Clifford K. and James T. Berryman Award from the National Press Foundation and the same award in 2006.
Before joining the Star Tribune, Sack was an editorial cartoonist for three years with the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette. He began his cartooning career on the student newspaper at the University of Minnesota. In his spare time, Sack paints and sculpts. He and his wife Beth live in Bloomington.
