
Ronnie Greene is a senior investigative editor for ProPublica in Washington. A veteran journalist, he edited a Pulitzer Prize-winning black lung investigation for the Center for Public Integrity. His other honors include an Emmy Award, the Harvard Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting and two ABA Silver Gavel Awards. Greene spent much of his career at the Miami Herald and has authored three books of narrative nonfiction. His second book, Shots on the Bridge: Police Violence and Cover-up in the Wake of Katrina, won the IRE Book Award. He teaches graduate writing at Johns Hopkins University.
