Peter is a builder at the intersection of media, policy, and power. As a former executive at POLITICO, The Huffington Post, and The Economist Group, he has helped shape how Washington, Wall Street, and Silicon Valley create communities and consume journalism.

He was President of 1776, an incubator for startups in highly regulated industries, co-founded the investment group, K Street Capital, and has advised a new wave of disruptive media brands including Semafor and Punchbowl News.

Originally from Mingo County, West Virginia, Peter is also Board Chair of WAMU 88.5 and serves on the boards of the National Press Foundation and the Close Up Foundation.
