Charlotte Smith is a Senior Public Affairs Manager in Salesforce’s Washington, DC office, where she manages Salesforce’s policy communications, third party partnerships, and strategic Government Affairs thought leadership programs in North America and Europe. 

Charlotte previously worked as a Senior Public Affairs Manager for Cisco Systems where she led the Corporate Affairs communications team and managed external media relations for Cisco’s Chief People, Policy and Purpose Officer. Prior to Cisco, Charlotte spent six and a half years in Google’s DC office managing public affairs and external media relations for political advertising and election integrity for global elections, and education, product, infrastructure, regulation and policy initiatives with DC and local media contacts across the country, including Google’s $13B expansion announcement in February 2019. 

Prior to Google, she worked for Burson-Marsteller on the Public Affairs and Crisis Management team, where she helped Fortune 500 companies navigate some of the trickiest corporate reputation issues related to tech policy, agriculture, and employee civil rights. 

Charlotte was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2021 for her election integrity and civil rights work at Google. She graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Government, and is a proud alum of The Harvard Crimson.
