Mosheh Oinounou is an award-winning journalist who has two decades of experience as a reporter and executive producer at CBS, Fox News, Bloomberg TV, Conde Nast Entertainment and CNBC. He has covered presidential elections, wars, natural disasters and produced interviews with dozens of world leaders, including five American presidents.
Oinounou most recently spent a decade at CBS News where he launched the network’s 24-hour national streaming news channel CBSN and served as the executive producer of the CBS Evening News. He helped lead network coverage of major breaking news events — managing teams around the world.
Following 15 years in traditional media, Oinounou took his reporting to social media, launching Mo News at the height of the pandemic. In just over two years, he has built a daily audience of more than 500,000 on Instagram, the Mo News podcast and newsletter. His mission is simple. To cover and break down the news in a conversational, understandable and non-partisan way–straight to the audience’s phones. His audience spans the world, including media executives and journalists, prominent celebrities including two Jonas brothers and the head of Instagram. His work has been profiled in multiple media outlets and he delivered a TedX talk in 2022 about why traditional news has lost audience trust and how they can regain it.
In addition to his work at Mo News, Oinounou also founded and runs the Mo Digital consulting firm where he advises media companies and Fortune 100 brands on communications, digital content strategy and brand messaging.
