Lisa Hughes is Publisher and CEO of The Philadelphia Inquirer, where she is driving the digital transformation of the 197-year-old locally owned media company. She previously worked as Chief Business Officer and Publisher of The New Yorker, successfully transitioning that iconic brand into a multiplatform business with long-term, sustainable profitability. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Publisher of Condé Nast Traveler and House & Garden. Hughes currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia and The News Media Alliance, and the Board of Trustees of St. Paul’s School.
