David A. Fahrenthold, 35, covers national politics and Capitol Hill for The Washington Post. Fahrenthold started at The Post in 2000, covering the D.C. police department and crime in the city. After that, he served as the paper’s New England correspondent and covered environmental issues before joining the political staff in 2010. A native of Houston, he now lives with his wife and daughter in Washington. David graduated from Harvard with a history degree.
