With a background in investigations, research, and advocacy, his current focus is on China. Since 2023, he has reported on state-imposed forced labor related to Xinjiang.
His work has been published in The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Politico, Le Monde, Sky News, The Globe and Mail, and other media outlets, as well as by civil society outfits including Human Rights Watch, Greenpeace, and Oxfam.
