Ben Wieder is an investigative reporter for the Miami Herald’s Washington Bureau whose reporting has focused on financial fraud and political influence. He worked previously at the Center for Public Integrity and Stateline and was a Paul Miller fellow. He has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College.

Wieder is also the 2023 co-winner of the Economic Justice Journalism Award.
