Ana Claudia Chacin is an investigative reporter at the Miami Herald. She was born in Venezuela, grew up in Miami. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and International Studies from the University of Miami in 2018. She was a fellow with The Washington Post’s investigative unit through the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Investigative Reporting in 2019. Before joining the investigative team at the Miami Herald, she worked as a producer and reporter at el Nuevo Herald.
