Ian Shea is the Founder & CEO of I M Human, a cultural wellbeing strategic design firm partnering with organizations to build world-class wellbeing strategies.

Shea has more than 30 years of experience building businesses, as a leader and an entrepreneur. Some of I M Human’s clients include LinkedIn, HSBC, O’Melveny & Myers, New York Police Department, Nixon Peabody, Otsuka Pharmaceutical, American Psychiatric Association (APA), National Alliance of Mental Health (NAMI), Cornell University, University of California at Berkeley and The Montessori Schools.

Prior to I M Human, Shea founded Maestro Market, a marketplace for experts. Before that, he ran ReplayTV, a successful brand of DVR systems which he sold to DirecTV.

Shea serves on the Board of the American Association for Suicidology, and is a Strategic Advisor to the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), an Ambassador  to The Real Mental Health Foundation, and an Industry Scholar at Cornell’s Institute for Healthy Futures. He is author of the Wellbeing ChroniclesTM, co-host of the podcast “How We Deal” and a frequent speaker on topics related to advancing strategic cultural wellbeing, building world-class cultures of emotional wellbeing, listening strategies, vulnerability, psychological safety and trust.
