
Benjamin Guggenheim is a tax policy reporter for Politico, where he has focused on covering congressional battles over IRS funding and the expiration of trillions of provisions from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Previously, he was a Capitol Hill reporter at Tax Notes. He started his journalism career as a news assistant on the award-winning coronavirus project at The New York Times. Benjamin graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a degree in international relations.
