Adriana Pérez is a general assignment and environment reporter at the Chicago Tribune, where she started as a breaking news intern in the summer of 2022 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame. For the next few months she remained on the breaking news desk, and more than a year ago she began covering the environment almost exclusively, writing about the Great Lakes, climate change, environmental justice, agriculture, wildlife and everything in between, with a special focus on Chicago and the Midwest.
Pérez briefed National Press Foundation fellows in November 2024: Make Climate Reporting Your Next Beat?
