Liang briefed National Press Foundation fellows in July 2023: Climate Change Threatens Asian Trade

As Government Chief Sustainability Officer, Lim Tuang Liang is responsible for coordinating the Singapore Government’s sustainability efforts to realise a sustainable, resource-efficient and climate-resilient Singapore.

He oversees the Public Sector Sustainability Office (PSSO), Sustainability Partnerships Office (SPO), and the Sustainability Training Development Group at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, which work with public sector agencies to develop and coordinate strategies and capability development for GreenGov.SG.

He also spearheads the Government’s partnership stakeholders, including businesses, civil society partners and individuals, to advance Singapore’s national sustainability agenda. Lim holds a concurrent appointment as Deputy Secretary (Special Duties) at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, where he oversees the Science and Technology Planning Division.
