Verdin briefed National Press Foundation fellows in September 2023: Judicial Elections Put Abortion, Voting, LGBTQ Rights on Ballot

Alejandro Verdin is a seasoned political operative with extensive experience in political strategy, campaign management, coalition-building, and fundraising. He began his career as an organizer and his work has taken him across the country. Most recently, he served as Campaign Manager on what the New York Times labeled, “The Most Important Election of 2023.” In this role, he led a state-wide campaign to victory that broke the all-time fundraising record for a judicial campaign in US history.

Prior to that experience, he worked for the prestigious Center for America, where he directed advocacy and accountability campaigns in Washington, D.C. An organizer at heart, Alejandro credits his family’s activism as the reason he got into politics in the first place. He also notes he has been fortunate to work around incredible people that have placed their trust in his ability to lead teams and win campaigns.
