
Borowski briefed National Press Foundation fellows in September 2023: Journalists, ‘We Need You.’
Greg Borowski is executive editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a position he took on in March of 2023 after nearly 15 years as an editor in various roles in the newsroom. A Marquette University graduate, Greg began his career in Marion, Ind., where he covered business before moving to Lansing, Mich., where he covered state government and politics. In 1998, he returned to his hometown and spent 10 years covering city government and politics. In 2009, he was named projects and investigations editor, going on to oversee projects that won virtually every major national award in journalism, including the Pulitzer Prize. He is the author of three books, including a nonfiction account of a groundbreaking high school football team.
